Citizens organize support for soldiers

Citizens organize program to provide support to soldiers, seamen, marines, and airmen serving in the armed forces

ENGLEWOOD, Colorado – Adopt A US Soldier is a volunteer-based, 501 (3) c non-profit organization that connects supportive civilians with deployed soldiers and offers a channel by which to communicate encouragement and express gratitude to the brave men and women serving the United States. The organization is sustained by the efforts of its volunteer workforce located across the United States. Since its inception in January 2005, 40 Adopt A US Soldier volunteers have connected nearly 400,000 supporters from 91 countries around the world with deployed service men and women via an online registration process at www.adoptaussoldier.org.

New book invites public to engage in a non-pc united national conversation on LGBT social and political agenda

SCOTTSDALE - As the cast on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in used to say, “You can bet your sweet bippy” a firestorm is brewin’. And it’s all because of a controversial new book about issues surrounding the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community agenda, titled “A Perfect Union,” by author Artis Patterson.

According to Patterson, “the book creates an opportune invitation to honestly discuss the nation’s collective thoughts about the issue without the stigma of being called ‘haters.’” While the push for same-sex marriage and homosexual adoptions are fairly recent issues, the LGBT sexual behavior is the un-snuffable social and political embers that have been smoldering since almost the beginning of time.

“We know we must eventually have this American family tête-à-tête about the impact of the LBGT group on our nation’s future. Certainly, no one wants to talk about it…They might get trampled by the invisible PC ‘elephant in the room,’” said Patterson.

“A Perfect Union” presents a common sense approach to dialogue and discussion. The book was recently sent to President Obama and each U.S. Senator to create a “United National Conversation” about the need for our country to be certain of its destination concerning this sensitive and future-changing issue.

“We have invited President Obama to draw on this atypical tool to lead the country in a nationalized, prime-time, televised broadcast and town hall meetings with legislators and experts from various fields to openly and honestly discuss the collective thoughts most Americans have about this issue. This democratic course is reasonable and fair,” said Patterson.

In essence,“A Perfect Union” is an insightful facilitation tool that: 

  • boldly challenges the current status quo philosophy and inspires a deeper desire for truth, clarity, and resolve;
  • is a common sense voice of reason on behalf of the American public;
  • is designed to engage our nation in a healthy debate about a possible, future civilization where the LGBT community will live in a permanently, infused union with American society;
  • is intended to facilitate breaking the chains of PC and the stronghold of special interest groups that would silence our united voice and discover truth;
  • chronicles historical facts and perspectives;
  • features imperative Discussion Points for the pending United National Conversation, which are the current collective thoughts, questions, and concerns of most Americans; and
  • is essentially “the people’s” request of a moratorium on all LGBT legislation giving our country time to understand and develop compromises and/or remedies before instituting irreversible changes to our social structure.
