As hot as it is, we still have many blossoms on these beautiful night blooming Cereus Cacti at our home.
Many mother quail nest in pots around our home. We love watching the baby quail hatch late May/June, then try to get out of the pots to follow their mother. Sadly to say, some die trying to do so.
These very hot (114 degrees) wild Javelinas were knee deep in our lily pond trying to cool off. The Javelinas come almost every day and night, drink and swim then stand under a mesquite tree near our home before traveling on down the wash.
