Selma Reincke
Long-time Cave Creek resident Selma Reincke went home to be with our “Heavenly Father” on Palm Sunday, April 5, 2009.
She was born in Iowa on May 4, 1925. She married Raymond Reincke in 1944.
The Reinckes moved to Southern California in 1955. Selma worked for Underwood and Hale in Lynwood. They moved to Buena Park in 1974. She retired from Beckman Instruments in Fullerton, Calif. later that year.
Selma was a member of the Light of the Desert Lutheran Church and Cave Creek American Legion Post 34 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her flowers and gardens and tending to her outside desert plants.
She will be greatly missed by all. She was a very loving person who cared about everyone. She made friends wherever she went.
She is survived by her daughter Susan; sisters, Rosie Goslar, Elvera Meseck (Edgar); sister-in-laws, Marian Kluver, Ester Meseck, Dorothy Fredericks, Frances Wiegel, Leanna Crowder (Ed); several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Clara Kroll, husband, Raymond and son Allen Reincke.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ronald S. Johnson
Ronald S. Johnson, a 20 year Cave Creek-Carefree resident, passed away March 28, 2009.
His is survived by his wife Maria, daughters Michelle, Katherine and Julia and his mother Miriam.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at the Carefree Church, 5025 E. Carefree Highway.
