Lyndel Manson Fills Board Seat Representing Northern Arizona
PHOENIX — Governor Doug Ducey has announced the appointment of Lyndel R. Manson to fill the vacancy on the Arizona Board of Regents designated for Northern Arizona representation.
Mrs. Manson brings an array of in-depth finance and education experiences to the board. She graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College in 1983 where she obtained a degree in economics. She received her Master of Business Administration with honors from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1987. Mrs. Manson previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Shearson Lehman Brothers (1983-1985) and market analyst with E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co. (1987-1990) and led nationwide new product introduction at Ortho Diagnostic Systems (1990-1991).
“I look forward to working with Lyndel on higher education issues,” said Governor Ducey. “Her experience in finance, marketing and education, and her long-standing connection to the Northern Arizona community will serve our public university system well.”

Mrs. Manson has an extensive philanthropic and non-profit background. She served on the boards of directors for the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (1988-2000) and the Forest Highlands Association (2003-2008). She has also been involved in K-12 education through her participation in the DeMiguel Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (2001-2008), where she served as president, and on the Northland Preparatory Academy board of directors (2005-2012), where she served as president and treasurer.
