As an educator with 35 years of University teaching and research, I would like to bring to the attention of the Cave Creek community the recent elevation of my niece, Lindsay Stollar Slover, to the Principal’s position at Copper Ridge Elementary school in Copper Ridge, Arizona. Lindsay, a resident of Cave Creek, has been a teacher in Arizona for several years and is now a Principal. Her family has a strong tradition of working as educators, i.e., her father John (my brother) was a Principal at Horizon High School; her mother was a long time early grades teacher in Scottsdale; her sister Sara has also been a teacher in Arizona. Finally, I, her Uncle, have taught at the University level for 35 years at Boston College, St. Bonaventure University, and at Bentley University for 25 years. Lindsay is following in this very notable tradition to help educate the country’s young people. I’m sure she will have the success that her relatives have had.
