On 28th April, The Knights of Columbus Council #11116 from Our Lady of Joy Parish in Carefree Arizona completed the 24th annual Golf-Fore-Charity event raising over $170,000 for vetted council charities with a fun and prayers filled event at the Blackstone Country Club in Vistancia. Over $4 Million raised over the years. This years’ efforts accomplished with a 100% volunteer committee. The committee was led by Knights Steve Strensrud (Chair), Nick Gaudio (Co-Chair) and Dennis Carda (Sponsor/Donor Lead). The council is led by Grand Knight Bob Zamary and Pastor Father Jess Ty.

Portions of the proceeds support the local Saint Vincent dePaul Companion Animal Program, ongoing support to the San Carlos Catholic Apache Mission and vetted local charities for veterans and others needing support.
The event featured over a hundred silent auction opportunities from generous donations from local businesses.
Planning has commenced for the 25 Year Anniversary Golf-Fore-Charity Event and we are looking to include/invite a few Persons of Faith in the Vocations, Professional or Amateur golf communities to help us celebrate!!!
