Carefree — The Kiwanis Club of Carefree proudly invites the community to join them for “A Night of Excellence” — a dynamic celebration honoring the outstanding achievements of local scholarship recipients. This special event will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center, located at 33606 N 60th St, Scottsdale.
The evening will feature an inspiring keynote address by Ricky Watters — 5X NFL Pro Bowler, Super Bowl Champion, NCAA National Champion, color analyst, author, champion for kids, and highly sought-after motivational speaker. Watters will share his powerful message of perseverance, leadership, and the importance of investing in our youth.
In addition to honoring the Kiwanis Club of Carefree’s 2025 scholarship recipients, the event promises a festive atmosphere with FREE admission and a complimentary catered reception following the ceremony.
“This is a night to celebrate our local students who are pursuing higher education and making a difference in our community,” said Janet Busbee, Kiwanis Club of Carefree Scholarship Committee Chair. “We’re thrilled to have Ricky Watters join us to inspire our recipients and guests with his incredible journey.”
