While we were all busy enjoying the holidays, the Town of Cave Creek was busy cluttering up our once scenic roadways with more metal signs. In most towns, they plant street trees for beautification. Unfortunately, since our town is totally clueless about aesthetics, they apparently believe that metal signs sprinkled along our roads are equivalent to street trees. Since the Town obviously has an excess of dollars to fritter away, maybe they should have a landscape architect or one of our local artists to give them some seminars on aesthetics.
The Mayor and Council seem proud to tell us about their accomplishments but fail to recognize the Town has gotten uglier during their term in office. Two more years of more signs and we may have to change the Town name from Cave Creek to Signville.
