Cave Creek Museum will begin its 2024-25 season on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1:30-4 PM.
“Come and discover our wonderful collection of pre-history pottery and artifacts in the Archaeology Wing, and linger in the History Wing to follow Cave Creek’s evolution from a military outpost to the town we know and love today,” says Evelyn Johnson, museum executive director. “And, our outdoor exhibits and Arizona Gold Mining Experience also have changed to keep the excitement high. Some of our new amazing exhibits including military uniforms, lunch boxes over the years and toys from 1890-1950. I encourage members and visitors to bring friends and their families to the museum to enjoy this year’s exciting and fun interactive exhibits.”
The 54-year-old 501(c)(3) museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research, and interpretive exhibits. The Cave Creek Museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek, Ariz., 480.488.2764. Open October through May.
