Temperament matters

Carefree’s Swamp is at it again. Following the DC Swamp + MSM playbook, the Carefree Swamp has been carefully coordinating its talking points by questioning the temperament of first-time Town Council candidate Diane Roth. The Swamp’s gossip blog and some recent letters to the editor by full-fledged Swamp supporters are unsurprisingly parroting the same “temperament” talking point. The groupthink is strong in Carefree’s Swamp (as it has been with their no-debate, unanimous-vote, lackey council members).

But there is actual irony to be found in the Swamp’s recently contrived “temperament” issue. The power-hungry Swamp that’s questioning Diane Roth’s “temperament” happens to be endorsing “Hampton Inn” incumbent Vince D’Aliesio. The same Councilman D’Aliesio who harshly disparaged and berated a female resident at the June 4 Town Council meeting during Public Comments. It was an unhinged, and wholly unprofessional display by a public official. I strongly encourage residents to go online (https://m.youtube.com/@CarefreeAZgov) and watch the totally bizarre and unwarranted tirade by the Swamp’s endorsed incumbent candidate. If “temperament” is your criteria, you would be a hypocrite to vote for “Hampton Inn” incumbent D’Aliesio.

So, I wholeheartedly agree that “temperament” should be an issue to consider, but it certainly isn’t with Diane Roth. If you go online and view the recent candidate forum, you’ll see a very intelligent, articulate and composed businesswoman. Do not trust the Swamp’s opinions or support the Swamp’s candidates. It’s resulted in the Hampton Inn and the property tax initiative. Swamp candidates are being endorsed to support the Swamp’s special interest agenda. The Swamp’s incumbents have already done enough damage to this beautiful little semi-rural town. Keep Carefree Swamp-free!
