At the July Carefree Town Council meeting, Clint Miller, a highly respected local architect was appointed to the Carefree Town Council.
From a pool of 10 exceptionally qualified applicants, Clint was selected after three rounds of votes where 4 of the 10 candidates received at least one vote. Having personally met with each candidate, I know the Council was faced with a difficult choice.
During conversations with residents and candidates, a frequent comment has been the need to better control development and aesthetics within the Town Core. As the Town looks to update Town Core Design Guidelines, Clint’s strong architectural background and his understanding of Carefree’s history, values, and challenges will be a unique and welcome addition to the Council.
As we move forward, I encourage all members of our community to continue to engage constructively. Your perspectives matter and I want to hear from you. Visit us at carefree.org to learn more about Town initiatives, connect with the Town and have your voice heard.
