Cave Creek, AZ— On January 7, 2022, notice was given to the Town of Cave Creek and the Daisy Mountain Fire District (DMFD) that Cave Creek has been officially accepted into the Regional Automatic Aid Response System, by vote from the members of the Central Arizona Life Safety Council (CALSC).
Cave Creek’s new fire station provides 24/7/365-day coverage with an “all hazard” response unit, consisting of a Class A fire engine which is staffed with 4 DMFD personnel— 2 of which are Advanced Life Support (ALS) medics.
As a member of the Regional Automatic Aid Response System, the request and dispatch for emergency response is coordinated through the Phoenix Regional Dispatch Center, which will automatically identify the type of emergency incident and immediately send the closest appropriate resources. In addition, this system now has the ability to seamlessly provide a significant amount of additional emergency fire and medical units if a unique or very large incident were to occur in this community. The Valley’s Regional Automatic Aid Response System is unique and often recognized as one of the most effective emergency resource response systems in the country.
