The regular Monday night, Nov. 15 meeting of the Cave Creek Town Council was, for the most part, entirely devoted to approving IGAs (intergovernmental agreements) for the storage of water at the Agua Fria Recharge Project, the Hieroglyphic Mountains Recharge Project and the Tonopah Desert Recharge Project
Following the meeting, Town Councilwoman Kathryn Bikos Royer offered this assessment:
“So proud to announce the approval tonight by Cave Creek’s Mayor and Town Council of three intergovernmental agreements with Central Arizona Projects (CAP) to bank the town’s excess Colorado River water for the future.”
