For All Signs: Mercury, the planet that rules communications, common business practice and travel turns retrograde on October 31 and will remain so until Nov. 20. During this time frame it is best to avoid finalizing major decisions or signing contractual agreements. Seemingly good ideas are often discovered later to have flaws or missing information. Projects that are begun during the cycle often cannot be completed until several months later, at the next retrograde. (Don’t put a piece of property on the market now!) The cycle is most beneficially used to complete old plans, gather information on proposed ideas, and reflect on past progress. It is meant for gestation and introspection, the dark and quiet time needed for new seeds to take root. This entire cycle will be complete on December 8, 2019.
Aries: You are needing to check and double-check financial records for possible errors. Perhaps you are rummaging through the archives for lost data and/or receipts. Don’t panic. Whenever a piece of paper has gone missing during a Mercury retrograde, it will always turn up by the end of the cycle.
Taurus: Mercury is retrograding in the territory of significant relationships, contracts, and clientele. These areas may be challenging right now because it is difficult to make decisions or finalize activities. Have patience with yourself and everyone else. It is temporary.
Gemini: You may find that your diet and exercise program are on hold or treading water. Don’t give up. This is merely a plateau. You may have a desire to improve your everyday environment. Before you make big purchases, organize and sort closets, records, and files. Then you can see your space and define what you truly need.
Cancer: Mercury is turning retrograde in the territory that rules children, creative efforts, and love life. Anything on your radar screen that is related to these territories is subject to turnaround, review, deceleration, rethinking for a few weeks. Maybe you’ll want to check out a previous love interest.
Leo: During this time for the Lions, Mercury will be retrograding in the territory of property, family, and issues of security. You are likely reworking things in one of these territories. Family members may be erratic or hard to pin down, making it difficult to conclude open agendas.
Virgo: The Mercury retrograde focus is specifically on communications, neighbors, siblings, and others who are in your daily environment. Concentrate as much as possible on clear communications. Double check what you think you heard. You may need to consider the needs of your vehicle now. Give it a checkup.
Libra: The probability is high that you will discover some financial error made in the past that must be rectified fairly soon. It may be as simple as finding a bill that was forgotten and left unpaid. Or it could be a little more complicated and require you to dig deeply until it is resolved.
Scorpio the Phoenix: (Oct. 23 — Nov 20) Give special attention to the lead paragraph. Mercury is turning retrograde in your sign and will be more likely to affect your daily affairs than many of the other signs. Don’t even try to finalize anything while a retrograding Mercury is with you. You may even reverse decisions which you have recently made because it has been in your sign for three weeks.
Sagittarius: Memories from your life history may surface for examination at this time. Old friends or acquaintances who return for a short time could be the trigger for this life review. It is possible you may have a greater than normal need to reflect, to write, and otherwise give attention to your inner self. Circumstances will slow down in your outer life so you can ponder these things.
Capricorn: Mercury has been retrograding in the Goats’ territory that concerns friends, organizations, and community contacts. You may be having difficulty bringing things to fruition or conclusion in any of these areas. Perhaps you are compelled to put previous plans on hold until a more fortuitous time.
Aquarius: Your ruling planet, Mercury, is altering directions in the house of career and life direction. This is really more of a tweaked change than a life change. However, if you happen to have applied for a job recently, you may find that you are changing your mind about that particular route. Now is the time to research the best possible choices, but don’t take action yet.
