Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation Rocks the District with Annual Grant the District Event

On September 17th, the Grant the District Bus Tour once again visited schools in CCUSD where teachers had submitted grant requests for their classrooms.  The Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation is a registered Arizona non-profit foundation that supports the mission of the Cave Creek Unified School District. The Foundation is led by a partnership of parents and community members. The CCUEF is a (501)(c)(3) organization.

District Superintendent, Debbi Burdick said, “CCUSD is incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated foundation made up of creative and supportive individuals focused on public education. Our students and their teachers benefit from the hard work and incredible effort these Trustees put forth every year.”

All of the grants awarded aligned with the CCUEF 4 pillars:

  • Classroom Supplies (including Technology)
  • Music and the Arts
  • Health and Wellness
  • International Learning

Each recipient received a “big” check, flowers and balloons. The CCUEF organization fundraises  throughout the year, with their major event being Rock the District-a rock concert with students from CCUSD and surrounding areas.

As a result of the incredible fundraising efforts of this organization, they granted $16,323 for a total of 18 grants to 6 schools.  Over the last 10 years, CCUEF has donated over $150,000.
