The Desert Foothills Gallery invites the public to experience a refreshing blend of bold creativity and cool ambiance at the 2025 Hot Art–Cool Show, on view from May 15 through October 1, 2025. This annual summer exhibition showcases an eclectic mix of contemporary artworks from thirty-eight local Arizona artists. True to its name, the Hot Art–Cool Show brings high-energy, visually striking pieces into the welcoming, air-conditioned comfort of Desert Foothills Gallery—making it the perfect destination to escape the heat and experience the power of art.
The public is warmly invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, May 23, from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet several of the featured artists, enjoy light refreshments, and be among the first to view the works on display.
Whether you’re a long-time collector, a casual browser, or simply looking for an inspiring break from the desert sun, the Hot Art–Cool Show promises a memorable and engaging cultural experience for all.
Supporting Local Art & Community
All artwork displayed in the exhibition is available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Desert Foothills Library and the Sonoran Arts League. By supporting local artists, visitors contribute to the growth and sustainability of the vibrant arts community in Cave Creek and beyond.
Admission to the gallery is free, and the exhibition is open during regular library hours at the Desert Foothills Library, located at 38443 N Schoolhouse Road, Cave Creek AZ 85331.
