Let’s Rethink School Funding – Together.
The Cave Creek Unified School District Governing Board has created a brand-new Capital Raise Committee. We are looking to assemble a powerhouse team of parents, professionals, and community leaders to join our committee — and we want you on it!
We need forward-thinkers like you.
Whether you’re a parent, a business leader, a grant writer, or just someone who wants to see CCUSD thrive — we need your voice, your skills, and your ideas.
Why create such a committee?
Because traditional funding alone isn’t enough. Our kids deserve better — and we’re done waiting for bonds or overrides to pass.
We want to build a strategy to unlock untapped revenue potential through:
Business & corporate sponsorships
State & private grant opportunities
Naming rights, donor partnerships, and tax credit boosts
Strategic campaigns that don’t raise taxes
This committee will shape the future of funding for:
Programs that attract and retain top students and teachers
Athletics and extracurricular activities to aid in student attraction and retention
Campus safety, infrastructure, and facility upgrades
Keeping campuses clean and updated
Timeline:
May–June: Committee launch and members established
August 19: first meeting at 5:00 PM at the District Office Governing Board Room
September 2, 16, 30: meetings at 5:00 PM at the District Office Governing Board Room
October 21: meeting at 5:00 PM at the District Office Governing Board Room
October 28: Present recommendations to the Governing Board at the Work-Study meeting at 6:00 PM at the District Office Governing Board Room.
Post-October: Activate new funding ideas/recommendations
