As a permanent gallery within the Desert Foothills Library, the space showcases the work of local Arizona artists and members of the Sonoran Arts League. The wall-mounted exhibitions rotate four time a year, ensuring a fresh and evolving display of artwork by juried local artists.
All exhibited pieces are available for purchase, with 20% of sales benefiting the Desert Foothills Library and 5% supporting the Sonoran Arts League. To buy artwork during an exhibit, visitors can inquire at the library’s circulation desk during regular hours.
The Sonoran Arts League is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that gives to our community by promoting art, artists, and art education through leadership and service in the belief that an artistic awareness is essential to the well-being of life and our community. With over 500 members, the League provides opportunities year round for artistic development, collaboration, and community engagement.
