Time for Spring Cleaning
CAVE CREEK – As the warmer weather rolls in, so does the urge to refresh and declutter your home. This spring, let Kiwanis Marketplace help you lighten your load while making a meaningful impact in the community. The nonprofit thrift store gladly accepts donations during business hours and even offers pickup services for large items and full-house cleanouts.

Spring cleaning isn’t just about tidying up—it’s an opportunity to give back. By donating gently used furniture, household goods, clothing, and more to Kiwanis Marketplace, you help support local programs and initiatives that benefit children and families in need. Last year the Kiwanis Marketplace was able to give back more than 1.3 million dollars to local organizations.
Spring Cleaning Tips to Get You Started:
- The One-Year Rule: If you haven’t used it in the last year, it’s time to let it go.
- Sort Smart: Create ‘keep,’ ‘donate,’ and ‘discard’ piles to stay organized.
- Start Small: Tackle one room at a time to avoid getting overwhelmed.
- Convenient Donation Options
Donating is easy! Simply bring your items to Kiwanis Marketplace during business hours. If you have large furniture or need a whole-house cleanout, the Marketplace team offers home pickup services.
“With our community’s generous donations, we’re able to provide funding for scholarships, art programs for seniors, and other local outreach programs,” said a Kiwanis Marketplace General Manager, Alex Perez. “Spring cleaning is the perfect time to turn unused items into something meaningful.”
