Kiwanis Club of Carefree announces new president for 2024-2025

The Kiwanis Club of Carefree is pleased to announce the election of Cam Kuniej  (pronounced; Koon-Yay) as the President for the 2024-2025 term. Kuniej will preside over the Kiwanis Board of Directors, leading both the Club and the Kiwanis Foundation, as they continue their mission to serve the children and families of the Carefree and Cave Creek communities.

Kuniej brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the community. As the new president, he aims to further the Club’s initiatives in education, youth development, and community service. His leadership will be instrumental in guiding the organization through another year of impactful programs and events.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as president of the Kiwanis Club of Carefree,” said Kuniej. “I look forward to working with our dedicated members and the community to continue our tradition of service and to explore new ways we can make a difference in the lives of those around us.”

The Kiwanis Club of Carefree has a long history of serving the local community through various initiatives, including scholarships for local students, support for educational programs, and charitable activities that benefit those in need. Under Kuniej’s leadership, the Club is poised to expand its reach and enhance its contributions to the community.

The Club also extends its gratitude to the outgoing president, Linda Wright, for her exceptional leadership and dedication over the past year.
