Tom McGuire is running for reelection as a member of the Town of Cave Creek Council. I served with Tom for six years. Through these years, it was apparent to me that Tom takes his service to the Town very seriously.
Cave Creek has benefitted from his efforts to ensure that Town residents have a safe and secure water system. Tom’s support for water interconnect with Phoenix will ensure water availability in emergency situations. He has, in addition to his Council duties, provided numerous educational sessions to residents to acquaint them with Cave Creek’s water supply issues and how to augment our supplies by voluntary conservation.
After there were two major fires in Cave Creek, Tom was helpful in the development of our agreement with Daisy Mountain Fire and Emergency Medical services. This made Cave Creek a part of the regional Automatic Aid System.
He is intimately aware of the Town’s trail system and initiated the policy to include a minimum of $100,000 for trail maintenance and development in each annual budget. As a private citizen, Tom has led educational tours into Spur Cross for two decades.
These examples only touch on many other ways Tom McGuire has worked for the benefit of the Town. He is one of the true friends to the Town on the Town Council.
