How growth is managed

I have lived off Highland & 71st Street since 2001. I have seen growth and heard people’s opinions from all sides. This is an important time for CC pertaining to growth! The biggest question is how will it be managed?

WHY I AM RUNNING:
At ASU (Political Science, 1985 B.S.) I did an internship for a U.S. Congressman. I learned that there is nothing more noble than to give back to your community to serve the best interests for the majority of people regardless of political motivation. It’s better to give back than to take. I consider myself a grassroots candidate not controlled by anyone or any group’s interests. I have wanted to run and give back for the last 40 years. I feel now is the best time in my life where I can give 100% of my dedicated time to help guide Cave Creek into the future.

MY PLATFORM:
-Manage Growth, Development, protect Property Rights
-Adhere to town plan/ordinances.
-Ensure adequate water per growth.
-Support town core integrity.
-Support businesses, events, town culture including the arts and our museum.
-Streets maintained.
-Solve parking problem.
-Develop Carefree Highway properly.
-Finances, taxes, and fire protection –
-Become debt free – CC is 20 million in-debt.
-Make progress without creating any new taxes (no property taxes).
-Fire protection needs to be watched closely at all times.
-Preserving Open Space, creating more trails.

Currently 4000 + acres of state trust land in CC.

CC has had 20 years now to purchase.

If not purchased by 2029 will be re-zoned, developed into hundreds of homes.

These are just some of the many things I will address, support and fight for if elected.

If you live and vote in Cave Creek I would sincerely appreciate your vote for CC Town Council on July 30th.
