‘Tis the season, gang…well, election cycle, that is. I must confess that I have relaxed this rule at different times, for different reasons over the years, hopefully for worthy causes, but…
We have elections looming and in order to guarantee a level playing field for candidates and supporters alike, the Sonoran News does have a policy of a 250-300 word count limit per submission and it will be in effect right up to casting ballots.
Letters are and will be posted online and in print in the order they are received and any submissions without verifiable credit or distasteful content will be treated accordingly, at the discretion of the publisher.
It is very important to keep deadlines in mind.
Sonoran News publishes in print twice monthly, on the first and 3rd Wednesdays. Deadlines are the previous Thursdays. All letters are also posted online.
So-o-o-o, MAKE YOUR WORDS COUNT.
