On Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2-4 PM, Cave Creek Museum and Kiwanis Family Fun Days present “Mother’s Day Tea.”
“This family event is to honor our mothers and grandmothers,” says Evelyn Johnson, executive director for the museum. “Please bring your children and join us for an old-fashioned English Tea at the museum in honor of Mother’s Day. We will be serving tea and lemonade and each child also will have an opportunity to design a small terracotta pot and choose a succulent plant to pot as a take home gift for Mom.”
This event is free thanks to the generousity of Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
The 53-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits.
