Cave Creek Museum Presents: “The History of Spur Cross Ranch”

On Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 2-4 PM, Cave Creek Museum Presents will host “The History of Spur Cross Ranch.”

Learn about the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area from local historian, columnist and writer Kraig Nelson. Nelson will discuss the harsh lives of its pre-history inhabitants and lively dude ranch days to its preservation through an amazing grassroots effort by the residents of Cave Creek. Nelson’s presentations are filled with information and humor. And, his workshops are among the most popular of the Cave Creek Museum Presents series.

Advanced reservations are required. Members are free and non-members can enjoy the program for a $10 admission ticket. Register at cavecreekmuseum.org. No discounts or culture passes.

The 53-year-old museum’s mission is to preserve the artifacts of the prehistory, history, culture and legacy of the Cave Creek Mining District and the Cave Creek/Carefree foothills area through education, research and interpretive exhibits. The Cave Creek Museum is located at 6140 E. Skyline Drive in Cave Creek.
