Scully Learning Center Foundation, which provides enrichment activities for developmentally disabled adults, will hold an open house on November 4, 2023 from 1-4 PM at its home, which is located at 37436 N. Rancho Manana Boulevard in Cave Creek, Ariz. The public is invited to learn about the needs of developmentally disabled young and older adults in the community and how to be part of making change. The event is free.
“The fall open house will showcase what we do and why it is so important to the citizens in our community,” says Paula Scully, Scully founder and chief executive officer. “We look to the support of local businesses and we want people to know there is a wonderful place where help is available to the many in need. Join us for a peaceful evening, meet community friends and find out how you can help.”
During the afternoon event, guests will enjoy a breath-taking ambiance while learning how chickens, ducks, goats, gardening, crafts, good friends, hiking, cooking and field trips help guests with disabilities live better, more meaningful lives.
“Our neighbors and business friends also will find about volunteer opportunities and learn about Kiwanis of Carefree Club,” adds Scully.
Scully Learning Center Foundation’s programs are made possible through the generous support of Kiwanis Club of Carefree.
