Below is information on Patriot Day Celebrations at CCUSD Schools!
Black Mountain Elementary School
60th Street – ½ mile south on Carefree Highway – September 8, 2023 – 9:15-9:45am
BMES is inviting all first responders to join them for their 13th Annual Patriot Day Ceremony. First Responders are asked to please show up anytime between 8:45 and 9:10am.
Desert Willow Elementary
Monday September 11th – students will make thank you cards.
PTO will be taking care of lunch for military, service workers, police, firemen, flight crew. Service family members will be able to join their student(s) at lunch.
Desert Sun Academy; Horseshoe Trails Elementary; and Lone Mountain Elementary schools:
Moment of Silence; Principal message; K-6 students will write/color thank you notes for first responders; and Spirit Day – students will be wearing red, white and blue
Sonoran Trails Middle School:
Observing a moment of silence and having words about 9/11 in the announcements
Cactus Shadows High School:
Observing a moment of silence.
