One highlight of Carefree’s August council meeting was Cheryl Kroyer’s ‘Current Events’ notice of an “Official Public Meeting Policy”. Apparently, Cheryl has been working with ‘staff’ to develop a policy which, based on her description, is clearly intended to silence residents during public meetings. At the July meeting a member of the audience shouted “LIAR” while Cheryl was stating that she and other council members had been neutral on the Property Tax.
In contrast to that statement, Cheryl and Sheila Amoroso had been repeatedly and actively campaigning in support of that Tax, to anyone who listened to them at the Post Office, or elsewhere. She must have also forgotten that Mayor Crane spoke in support of the tax at numerous HOA annual meetings.
To most rational individuals, Cheryl’s bold claim would be a BOLD LIE, hence the label LIAR fits. It seems she believes she can lie with impunity, yet she wishes to eject or ban any resident who might catch her in the next lie and call it what it is. Komrade Kroyer, this is America where our freedom to speak, especially about liars, is protected. This is not Russia where – the ‘Committee’ decides ‘what is lie, and who is banned. Da!’
