Why President Biden is blind to the obvious sanction – stop oil payment to Russia. It’s political; pick and choose sanctions. This balance act message of wanting to reduce carbon emissions, saving mother earth from global warming, going green at the expense of Ukrainian’s livelihood, is the worst excuse ever not to act. If Russian oil is no more, which is about 3% of U.S. oil imports, economists say, higher prices at the pump would show up. I say, let them rise. I cannot believe Americans are so self-centered and materialist that a couple of dollars more at the pump would crimp one’s lifestyle when all one sees daily is devastation and suffering taking place in Ukraine. For once I’d like the President to land on the side of logic – impose sanctions on Russian oil imports and quit leading by poll numbers!
