The CCUSD District Spelling Bee was held at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center on January 22, 2021. 35 students in grades 4th through 8th participated representing 7 schools in the district (5 elementary schools, the middle school and the online school).
Lily Lyman, 5th grader from Desert Willow Elementary was the winner. Aveeva Mirchandani, 8th grader attending the Cave Creek Academy of Excellence was the runner up.
