The Scottsdale Gallery Association hosts its final Gold Palette ArtWalk of the year on Thursday, December 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. within the Scottsdale Arts District — stretching along Main Street from Scottsdale Road west to Goldwater Boulevard and on Marshall Way north of Indian School Road to Fifth Avenue. Featuring holiday events to coincide with the City of Scottsdale’s fifth annual Scottsdazzle extravaganza, the event invites art aficionados to enjoy seasonal entertainment as they peruse participating galleries.
“We’re excited to welcome our art community and art enthusiasts to enjoy some holiday fun this year in a safe and socially distanced way,” says French Thompson, president of the Scottsdale Gallery Association and owner of French Designer Jeweler located in the Scottsdale Arts District. “Many of our members are excited to present holiday celebrations within their own galleries so guests have an opportunity to explore a wide array of art mediums and in many instances meet featured artists while getting into the holiday spirit.”
This year, special precautions are being taken to ensure guests’ safety, and attendees are asked to practice social distancing and wear a mask. During the event, attendees can enjoy special guest appearances from Santa and the Grinch, live performances by traditional strolling carolers, and treats and sips while they get their holiday shopping done for the art lovers in their lives!
