Sirs:
We have been treated to Editorials, Op-Ed pieces, columns and Letters in the Sonoran News that celebrated Trump, the politician and person.
However, with each unprecedented move, Trump assures a precipitous decline for our country.
Our resident Trumpanzees revel in his being the worst President in history. He is, by turn, corrupt, stupid, cruel, inhumane, racist, sexist, a religious bigot and xenophobic.
Those that idealize Trump, even those that find him ‘acceptable’ may, or may not realize they sold out to a genuine loser. He venerates Putin, dictators, murderers and those that bow to him.
This Reality Show Star plays out his Administration as entertainment for rubes otherwise glued to Fox News and Shawn Hannity. In the meantime, he is placing American values at risk. In his parlance, for example, crime exists only if you are caught, and then, of course, you will be Pardoned if you are in his good graces.
Let us hope that the upcoming General Election frees the U.S. from this dark chapter in our history.
