Dear Editor,
When Senator Sinema ran and won her seat in the Senate, she did so as a moderate who stayed away from the fringe left and unrealistic liberal policies. She won, and yet, the Democrats who are running for President don’t seem to have taken any lesson in that. They are proposing huge government programs like Medicare for All or the public option that would have no chance of passing given its cost to taxpayers, and yet that is all they talk about in the debates. Maybe a better idea would be to shy away from the impossible and start embracing the possible. No more unrealistic solutions. We need ones that will work in the real world.
