For All Signs: At the end of December, 2018, I wrote a column in which I projected 2019-2020 to be the years of Karma’s playground. (I used the term “karma” loosely, as in retribution or reward for past behavior, not as a religious message.) The astrological symbols that represent this condition are the presence of both Saturn and Pluto in the sign of Capricorn. Last week the two began a long series of conjunctions and parallels in this sign of politics, business, building, and governing that will not be complete until after March, 2020. This is a potent arrangement that can be destructive to anyone or entity that is doing harm to others or the public good. The fallout will be financial for the globe and potentially represents wars among those that cannot think in terms larger than their personal interests.
For individuals It is likely one or more structures that are built into your life will crumble. This has been developing since 2016, so it may have already happened to many. We must take care of ourselves financially. Pay down or eliminate debt altogether. Store your resources in a variety of institutions and places. Don’t count on just one source for money, lest it dissolve before you can reach it. Even if it has never been of interest to you, give attention to the direction of the economy and overall political climate.
This is not a Doomsday message. It is a statement of major changes ahead that clearly must happen if we are to continue forward. It won’t be “business as usual” for the forseeable future.
Aries: This is a fine week to finish tasks you have in process. Aries is prone to procrastinate, so there are probably a number of things in the works. You have an increase in energy and can win at anything you try.
Taurus: This is a time in which you may be studying something. It could be a new skill, a language (use the word broadly), or instead you may become the teacher or mentor for someone else. You have the big picture and can communicate well with those at a distance.
Gemini: Your ruling planet, Mercury, has turned retrograde in the area of casual friends, and organizational contacts. People from your past may be returning for a catch-up visit. It is possible that you are re-evaluating your participation in groups. The retrograde lasts through the end of March, so you need not make snap decisions.
Cancer: You are in the flow of things now. There are few who would stand in your way. Friendships, partnerships and other social relationships are cooperative and even helpful to your goals if you need that. You will likely find yourself a leader of one or more groups of peers.
Leo: The Mercury retrograde spotlight is shining on you so brightly this week that the glare may hurt your eyes. Make an effort not to offer opinions. Inquire of others about their attitudes. If you make flat statements you are likely incorrect or too forceful for comfort.
Virgo: Mercury is retrograding in the territory of significant relationships, contracts, and clientele. These areas may be challenging right now because it is difficult to make decisions or finalize activities. Have patience with yourself and everyone else. It is temporary.
Libra: Listen carefully to your intuition. Don’t dismiss unusual ideas or information until you have tried it. Dreams may be informative. Your special talents are particularly helpful this week.
Scorpio: Your relationship to partner(s) is favored. This is a good time to discuss important topics. You can smooth the skids now if you are willing to converse in a peaceful manner.
This is a good time to bring a creative work to fruition. It may not be totally complete, but you can see that a project will become successful
Sagittarius: This is a time in which your exuberance and enthusiasm may carry you farther than you really intended to go. You will certainly have more energy to do whatever you choose, but take care that you don’t promise way more than you can deliver. Your warm and generous heart could get you into trouble.
Capricorn: Give special consideration to the lead paragraph. It is probable that you are already seeing signs of major change in your life. It is not yet over. Stay prepared for transitions and transformations in the structure of your life.
Aquarius: Your timing and stability are giving you a leadership position in a developing project which may not be unveiled for another year. For now, hold steady. Your plans are developing well and others will be supportive of your ideas.
Pisces the Fish: (Feb. 18 – Mar 19) People are recognizing the value of your commitment and production. This can be in any arena where you have given your energy. You will see this via new opportunities that come your way.
