If you’re looking for a way to help spread holiday cheer through selfless acts of kindness, the Salvation Army has an option.
The organization is currently in search of volunteers for its annual four-day Christmas dinner event that will begin Dec. 22. The event will be located in downtown Phoenix at the Phoenix Convention Center’s south building.
“The biggest need we always have is for cleanup and volunteers to drive meals for homebound individuals,” said Scott Johnson, Salvation Army’s southwest division public relations director.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to work in the kitchen; while those interested in volunteering in the room of Joy must be at least volunteers must be 12 years old.
