A meet and greet on June 20 at Cactus Shadows High School provided a great opportunity for Cave Creek voters to get up close and personal with all the Mayoral and Town Councilor candidates. Sponsored by outgoing Councilwoman Mary Elrod, the setting provided a relaxed atmosphere that let attendees mingle with the incumbents and challengers and chat informally. Judging by a couple of overheard conversations, it provided an opportunity for many of the candidates to get to know each other as well.
On June 21 Anna Marsolo announced she is withdrawing from the race.
