There was ducking and dodging aplenty last Friday evening. In what was billed as the ‘First Annual Dodgeball Tournament’, teams of made up of fourth, fifth, and sixth graders gathered in the gym at Sonoran Trails Middle School in a double elimination tournament to raise funds for Kids Care Cave Creek. Kids Care Clubs started in 1990 with the mission of developing compassion and inspiring a spirit of volunteering in elementary and middle school children.
Recently the Cave Creek Kids Care Club spent a day volunteering at the Wild at Heart Raptor Rescue facility. The group will also be volunteering soon at Foothills Foodbank and Triple R Horse Rescue. You can visit the Kids Care website at https://kidscarecavecreek.com.
