The pro-life movement is really pro-woman. I think the pro-choice people fail to realize that being against abortion is not age-old thinking, but is actually pro-feminism. There is a national group called Feminists for Pro-Life that supports women to stand up against men walking all over them.
Abortion allows men to not be responsible for their sexual activity outside of marriage. They hold that not all women seek abortion due to pressure, but that many women seek abortion merely because they want it and forgot their birth control.
Adoption is an option – healthier for the baby and the woman.
