More than 500,000 veterans live in Arizona who have bravely served in the United States Military.
With less than ½ of 1% of Americans today volunteering to serve in our Armed Forces, I think it’s critical we continue to thank those who have who have put their lives on the line to protect this country. Starting tomorrow, every Friday, the Arizona Republican Party will be honoring a veteran who has protected and defended the United States of America.
Our heroes deserve recognition for their service — so if you know someone who has served, we would like to highlight them in our newsletter and on social media. Please send a photo, a brief bio, and their full name and rank to [email protected].
We want to share their story.
As many of you know, I live in Yuma, and there is a large military presence here. You’ll see many Yumans wearing red every single Friday to support our troops. I participate, and I would encourage you to do the same. For those families who have a loved one serving overseas, the smallest of actions to show your appreciation and support (like wearing red on Fridays) can mean a world of difference.
I very excited to get started on this project to honor our vets. Rosalie and I keep our servicemen and women in our prayers always.
