Vulnerable Arizona House Democrat Tom O’Halleran doubled down on last month’s stunning betrayal of his drought-stricken constituents with another doozy.
O’Halleran opposed Rep. Valadao’s H.R. 23 – the Gaining Resonsibility On Water (GROW) Act – to make more water available in Arizona communities. By voting NO on this measure, O’Halleran voted AGAINST:
– Implementing solutions to alleviate 6-year drought crisis
– Protecting the livelihoods of farmers who depend on water rights to grow and sell crops
– Giving agencies flexibility during emergencies to address a drought crisis
“It’s truly sad that Tom O’Halleran continues to put the wishes of Nancy Pelosi and radical environmentalists ahead of fixing the very real water crisis impacting his constituents. O’Halleran will be held responsible for his failure to represent drought-afflicted families who are fed up with soaring water prices and increasing scarcity of this vital resource.”
