I have traveled to 5 continents and many countries within them over 40 years. I have talked with hundreds of people in those countries, from business leaders to street vendors and hotel workers.
I have yet to hear any of them trashing their own countries. I do consistently hear them telling of their optimism for the future and never hear any indication of national self-hatred.
Yet here in the United States, about half of our citizens seem to hate our country. They hate our history, they hate our institutions, they hate our system of government, they hate the majority of us. They hate anyone who disagrees with them.
I have been alive since the 1950’s and witnessed the change from Patriotic America to self-loathing anti-America to the uprising of Leftists and the Media in the mid to late 1960’s. These two groups have always been around, but they got a foot hold in the Viet Nam era and when the Media successfully deposed two American presidents and lost a war for us.
After that, they felt renewed energy and set a path forward to overturn the American system of government and replace it with a globalist view and centralized, Leftist controlling government. They filled the media with Leftists. They filled universities and public schools with Leftists. They filled political positions with Leftists. They filled the judicial system with Leftists. All of this while average Americans worked, raised our families, paid our taxes, followed laws and relied on our elected representatives to actually follow their oaths of office and do the right things and follow the US Constitution. We were wrong to not be involved.
We went to sleep for too long and we empowered the Left to legislate, adjudicate, riot, protest, intimidate, yell, scream, break laws, break windows, and break our American culture down. All in the (false) name of justice and compassion.
Almost every country and people on Earth in their history did bad things to each other. Slavery was practiced by MANY countries throughout human history and many still have slavery, by other names, even today. Yet the United States is the only country on Earth who gets blamed as being racist! All the while, we are the most charitable nation on Earth, both privately and publicly. Leftist countries are the least charitable and most hostile to peace and individual freedom.
The Leftists use self-loathing and guilt to enact their globalist, redistributionist views. The Left NEVER creates value or wealth, ever. Instead they usurp the value and wealth and production that OTHERS created and then take it over and redistribute it to hold power. Look at every dictator or tyrant today and in history. None of them ever built anything from the ground up using their Leftist strategies. Instead, they create mobs of violent haters and overthrow elected governments and take over the means of production and then take all power for themselves and rule with a clenched fist. Look at Mao, Hitler, Hussein, Assad, Castro, Lenin, Chavez, the Ayatollahs, on and on. They rile up the people, take over power, and execute or imprison their rivals. And the mobs that gave them power are forgotten. They are not creators, they are destroyers.
We are witnessing the same effort here in our country today to wrest control for themselves, even though Leftists are a minority. They act bigger than they are with media coverage, street riots and anonymity on the Internet. Paid protesters are full time jobs, financed by wealthy Leftists like George Soros, who hates America.
Things have changed, and we cannot sit back and trust elected politicians to protect us or do the right things. We must counter the vile, hateful Left with our own actions. We have to get elected to political offices, we have to communicate with elected officials consistently to hold them accountable. We have to get into the education system and start teaching accurate history again and stop the Leftist indoctrination. We have to stop giving money to Leftists in Universities, the media, Hollywood and businesses that support Leftist causes. If we do not have the courage of our convictions, we will lose this culture war and our country.
The LEFT will never stop until they destroy us. They will never give up and they will never go away. They must be defeated by a majority of Americans fighting back. If you love your kids and grand kids, there is no other choice. I could live in a number of countries, but having been in many of them, America is still the best choice and offers the most opportunity for freedom and safety.
We must start acting like our country is worth loving and protecting and stop being a beaten-down door mat for the world and the Leftists among us. This has to stop and we have to fight for ourselves and our country.
