The Outpost Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for the gas station is back and
there will be an open house on December 8th at 6 PM at the Copper Ridge
school cafeteria. I have attached the letter they sent around. Not much
we can do about this other than complain again about how this use isn’t
needed and how it will take business away from the existing gas
stations, but the whole case has already been approved. I won’t be able
to go to it, but feel free to go and make your concerns known.
BTW it is in the conditional use permit case (this one) where the city
has the ability to put restrictions on the design and use to make it
compatible with the surrounding area so it is important from that
standpoint.
