Due to the significance of some changes proposed to the draft General Plan 2035, the city is hosting two additional open houses for the public to attend to find out more information. The open houses are scheduled:
- Wednesday, Nov. 9, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Horizon Park Community Center, 15444 N. 100th St. (A brief informal presentation will be given at 11:30 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m.)
- Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Copper Ridge School Cafeteria, 10101 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy. (A brief informal presentation will be given at 6 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.)
The same content on the draft General Plan 2035 will be available at both meetings. Staff will be available to answer questions on the draft plan one-on-one. Comments collected will be forwarded to Planning Commission and City Council for consideration.
