CAREFREE – The town of Carefree is getting a treat before Halloween and there aren’t any tricks in sight. On Wednesday, Oct. 5, Bashas’ Supermarket opens the doors to its newly remodeled grocery store at 36889 N. Tom Darlington Drive (the corner of Tom Darlington Drive and Carefree Drive).
Shoppers will get a first look at not only the new layout and expanded offerings, but also have the chance to shop for great grocery deals and enjoy plenty of samples with vendors such as Tea of a Kind, Huberts Lemonade, XINGTEA, High Brew Coffee, Marley Coffee and San Tan Brewing Company.
“As a long-term retail partner, Bashas’ has fulfilled our needs for a number of years and has become a pillar of the community,” said Carefree Mayor Les Peterson. “We are thankful for the investment in Carefree and welcome the remodeled store back into the thriving Desert Foothills business community.”
On Saturday, Oct. 8, the party continues as Bashas’ offers the first 200 shoppers who spend $50 or more at the Carefree store a FREE bag of groceries. Cake sampling will be offered between 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The newly-remodeled Bashas’ grocery store has several new amenities, including:
New sushi offerings and a soup & salad bar, which will have chefs assembling fresh rolls, available to grab-and-go, along with an assortment of hot soups to enjoy just in time for cooler temps and fresh salad offerings to compliment the perfect pairing on-the-go;
A new Starbucks with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating; and
An expanded Natural Choice area with an even wider selection of organic and better-for-you foods from which to choose.
