Scottsdale Council and Mayor Lane:
Shame on the council for not letting the citizens vote on the Desert Discovery Center (DDC). We paid for the preserve procurement, the many millions already spent on studies and now the DDC would require more of our tax dollars, for I am certain the DDC will move forward so that developers and donation supporters can “reap” their rewards.
How dare all of you (except for Littlefield and Phillips) display your entitled attitudes and forget that you serve the Scottsdale taxpayers, not yourselves or special interests.
There is no excuse or earthly reason why a citizen vote would not be approved in this case.
