SCOTTSDALE – FCF-HCC is presenting a candid conversation on Proposition 205, the Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act, Arizona’s Medical Marijuana Initiative. This event will take place Wednesday, October 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the FCF-Holland Community Center, 34250 N 60th Street, Building B, Scottsdale AZ 85266. Admission is free and open to the public.
This November, Prop 205 will give Arizona voters an opportunity to choose to regulate marijuana like alcohol. Our non-biased, informational forum, includes a panel of speakers from all backgrounds of this topic who will help educate attendees to make an informed decision as a voting member of the community. Panelists include Ryan Hurley, Attorney, Rose Law Group; JP Holyoak, Owner of Holyoak Wealth Management LLC Arizona and Natural Selections Dispensary, and member of the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol, Marijuana Policy Project; Dr. Ed Gogek, Psychiatrist, treating addicts in jails clinics and substance abuse treatment programs; and, Bill Montgomery, Maricopa County Attorney. The panel will be facilitated by Roger Rickard, founder of Voices in Advocacy, professional speaker and published author.
This program includes an hour of panelist position statements and questions posed by the facilitator. Attendees are then invited to have one-on-one discussions with panelists following the presentation. It will conclude by 7:30 p.m.
