The Scottsdale Bar Association is pleased to announce that it is presenting its September 13, 2016 CLE program.
The topic is Fee Agreements: Do’s and Don’ts presented by Lisa M. Panahi, State Bar Senior Ethics Counsel and Steven M. Guttell, State Bar Fee Arbitration Committee Chair.
It is important to have a proper fee agreement and proper billing practices so that you can get paid and keep your fees. This program will address some of the common errors made by lawyers in creating and executing fee agreements. What fee agreements must include, what they may include and what they cannot include. The importance of keeping time and correctly defining the type of fee being charged.
The program will be presented at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club, 7600 Gainey Club Drive, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 (off of Doubletree Ranch Road and Gainey Club Drive).
