GOODYEAR – The Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to host “Arizona Cyber Threat Landscape: Wicked Problems and Solutions” on Thursday September 29, 7:30 to 9:30 am, at Estrella Mountain Community College.
In partnership with Arizona State University and Estrella Mountain Community College, “Arizona Cyber Threat Landscape” will feature highly recognized experts in the cybersecurity and threat response industry.
Moderated by Jamie Winterton, ASU Global Security Initiatives.
Keynote speaker will be Dan Krpata, RSA. Additional speakers will include Paulo Shakarian, ASU Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics; Jason Azzarella and Olean Burnes, Computer Incident Response Team, Bechtel Corp; David Boynton, Vice President and CIO, APS; and Kim Jones, ASU School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences and Director of Cybersecurity Education Consortium.
A panel discussion will include Ori Eisen, Founder & CEO, Trusona; Brett Scott, Co-Founder, Arizona Cyberwarfare Range; Frank Grimmelmann, President, Arizona Infragard; Owen Zorge, IT Director & CIO, Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, and; Inspector William Long, Arizona Counter Terrorism Information Center.
“We hear about cyber crime and its impact on people’s lives almost every day,” said John Safin, President and CEO of the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Anyone who uses a computer, smartphone, or any device for work or home is at potential risk. This event will highlight current and potential threats and show how Arizona can be a leader in cybersecurity.”
