We need Trump as president for many reasons but the overriding one is to put Hillary in retirement. She has proven over and over that she is a liar and criminal. Now her health issues are front and center. It will take a little investigation since the media is protecting her as they protected Obama, although the truth is right there to see in the conservative press and on talk radio as well as a plethora of books from insiders.
It isn’t surprising. The press has been trained for a long time in schools, colleges and by leftist management of their firms. Reversing the leftist slant of the media should be a major goal for Republicans but to do that the establishment needs to be defeated and set aside, another near impossible goal. The establishment has been around for a century or two and is wealthy and strong. Look at the aid the establishment is giving Hillary by refusing to support Trump, while berating him.
Republicans either need enough party voters to put Trump into office or a large number of crossover voters.
So send whatever you can afford to him and put him in your prayers.
Another election reminder – vote for Russ Wittenberg. He entered the congressional race late, but he’s a solid conservative. His opponent, David Schweikert, is not. At best Schweikert is a supporter of the establishment and has done nothing while serving as our representative.
Go Russ!
And let’s not forget the toughest sheriff anywhere, our own Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio fought the battle of illegal immigration successfully until the federal courts moved in and harassed him for years. They accuse him of profiling and other offenses, even reaching staff level.
Arpaio had his Cold Case Posse working on exposing Obama’s lack of eligibility. Before he had a chance to display his findings, responding to complaints by radical Mexican activists while assigned to U.S. District Judge G. Murray Snow, the court has done everything it can to put Arpaio out of office. This is Obama pay back.
Nonetheless, he is running for reelection. He needs, and deserves, financial help and your vote.
GO Joe!
Cave Creek
Let’s review council voting. For a yes vote for council:
Susan Clancy
Mary Elrod
David Smith
Ron Sova
I have had a talk with long serving Thomas McGuire and he came around to my view NOT to close Cave Creek Road for a couple of businesses. Doing so is an act of crony capitalism. I now include Thomas McGuire for a yes vote. For mayor there are no suitable candidates, so I suggest a write in, even though there are no candidates running as write-ins. If not Vincent Francia, be imaginative. Please, not Mickey Mouse.
The remainder of candidates I call the dark side or CAVE people, Citizens Against Virtually Everything.
None of them really have the interests of Cave Creek in their hearts. They are dangerous and I wish more level headed smart people with town interests in their hearts and minds had put in the effort, but they didn’t.
Let’s start with the three dark side people with no judgment or mathematics ability. Roadhouse owner Jim O’Toole had less than the required 56 signatures. He is the Real Deal alright.
The person who wants to bring back the slate, Eileen Wright, got collected more than the 113 signatures allowed, as did mayoral candidate Janelle Smith-Haff. Wright, in addition, was the bottom vote for the slate and is no more acceptable now than she was then.
How would anyone vote for a past slate member who is stupid enough to think it was a positive experience for the town? That is Reg Monachino, who only voted in lock step with his perceived macho guy, Adam Trenk.
Monachino was removed from council in last year’s recall election along with Trenk and their fellow slate members. Monachino is a disgusting little guy whose candidacy would only bring laughter on the choice.
Then there is Anna Marsolo’s ex, Paul Diefenderfer. How relationships change. A neighbor witnessed him pulling up a sign and throwing it in back of his truck when Lester Rechlin was advertising rooms he had for rent. Now Lester (or Fester as some have named him) is a big buddy of the dark side. In no way is “Dief” qualified for anything else and his criticisms of Sonoran News have no basis in truth. He also didn’t have the balls to come to our forum.
In the same league as Diffendorfer (sic) is John Vannucci, who didn’t attend our forum either. Vannucci claims to be a conservative but he is a moron. He and his wife Sara (who was involved with Robert Dillie’s Mid-America Foundation selling bogus securities in a Ponzi scheme) publish an online piece of crap.
And last there is C.W. Jensen who has law enforcement experience in Portland, Oregon. It is a long story and you can read about it online. However his behavior in the campaign circuit has everyone scratching their heads. Not a council candidate really!
