A number of projects have been launched to strengthen Scottsdale’s standing as a premiere tourism and special events destination.
You’re invited to get the latest news on these efforts when Scottsdale hosts its annual Tourism and Events Update from 9 to 10 a.m. July 20. The meeting takes place at the Community Design Studio, 7506 E. Indian School Road.
Scottsdale officials will provide the latest information on a number of projects and programs related to tourism and events. Topics will include:
- Scottsdale’s new Special Events Ordinance
- The city’s new Special Event User Guide
- An overview of the city’s event funding programs
- An update on the Downtown Scottsdale Update newsletter
The public, event producers and other interested parties are invited to attend to learn how they can participate in and enjoy Scottsdale’s special events.
